Alderwoman: Marijke Vos

Marijke Vos was born in Leidschendam on 4 May 1957. She studied biology at WageningenAgriculturalUniversity. Before she took on the position of Alderman she was a member of the Dutch House of Representatives (from 1994 onwards). While holding this position, her responsibilities included chairmanship of the parliamentary inquiry into irregularities in the construction industry.
