Lodewijk Asscher

Lodewijk Asscher was born in Amsterdam on 27 September 1974. He studied Dutch law at the Universiteit van Amsterdam. In 2002 he became a member of the City Council and since 2004 he has been party leader of the PvdA (Labour Party).
