The Amsterdam Area continues to move forward with developments in the fields such as urban extension, internet and data traffic, tunelling & connectivity.
Zuidas
An urban extension project located between Amsterdam and Schiphol is rising skyward at the Zuidas (South Axis), a mixed commercial, residential and recreational urban centre for the 21st century.
IJburg
The IJburg development is a daring urban extension to the east of Amsterdam city centre, primarily a residential area offering a range of dwelling types and living environments.
South Bank of the IJ
The Zuidelijke IJ-oever (South Bank of the IJ) and the Oostelijk Havengebied (Eastern Harbour District) are former dockland areas to the east of the Central Station which are being redeveloped, with residential, commercial and recreational functions.
