The Amsterdam Tourism & Convention Board (ATCB) is the number one organisation in the fields of tourism and conventions in and around Amsterdam. Within Europe, it is one of the top ten tourist cities.

Tourism and the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions) market are among the fastest growing industries. They generate €4 billion in gross tourism expenditure for Amsterdam alone, including both tourist and business spending by visitors. Some 72% of that amount (€2.9 billion) relates to tourism expenditure; in terms of employment that involves 38,000 jobs. Those jobs can be found in the culture, transport, retail, attractions and amusement sectors in and around Amsterdam.

Common objective
The Amsterdam Tourism & Convention Board works together closely with trade and industry and the municipalities to achieve their common objective: the highest possible spending of all visitors, resulting in a strong basis for employment and prosperity in and around Amsterdam.
