XtraCold Icebar Amsterdam

As the name XtraCold IceBar already suggests, everything is made out of ice. The walls, the bar, the seats and even the glasses are frozen solid. A staggering 40 tons of ice was used to craft the complete interior. The Icebar can get every colour of the rainbow because of the LED-lighting and party music will incentive to move to keep everybody warm.

The 3D movie is like a 4D Xperience, like a ride: the film takes ten minutes and because of the 3D glasses, special floor, cold wind, the warm clothes and of course the temperature of minus 10 it feels like you're in the middle of the movie. This 4D Xperience is a part of the total show of 45 minutes in the Icebar.


After the visit you can stay in the "cool" lounge to enjoy a cocktail. Also for groups and company presentations the lounge is very suitable. You can join a cocktail workshop at the bar for 8 people or more and order sushi with it. It's also possible to order different kinds of tapas menu's but you have to make a reservation first.

On Friday, Saturday and Sunday the entertainment team arrives between 16:00-23:00 hours. Meet your favourite winter character King Bernice, Queen Ice belle of Kimo the Eskimo. Make your picture on magnetic paper. Nice for on the fridge. And who knows, maybe a Polar beer is standing next to you when you are in the Icebar.
