In the centre of the 19th century Vondelpark is a building that looks something like a flying saucer. Café het Blauwe Theehuis (1937) is built like three rings on top of each other. This unusual construction and the large surrounding terrace (700 places) attracts hoards of creative Amsterdam residents at the first ray of sunshine. You can even enjoy yourself here in the winter because of the outdoor electric heaters. On Sundays, deejays spin laidback music.
