Sneaker freaks head to Onitsuka Tiger on the corner in the 9 Straatjes (9 Streets). Onitsuka Tiger is a subsidiary of the sport shoe brand Asics which has been around since 1949. These Japanese shoes – that were popular right up to the 80s and then disappeared have once again become hot (think Uma Thurman in Kill Bill). They have re-issues in many unusual models and colours. In addition to the extensive collection of sneakers, there are sports clothes and bags on sale.
