The menu is graced with affordable classic French dishes such as côte de boeuf with béarnaise sauce and skate à la meunière. The cosy ‘retro’ decor has golden and beige walls, masses of mirrors and cognac-coloured leather sitting areas. Loup attracts a nice crowd who like to see and be seen but it’s just a tiny bit too noisy for a romantic tête-a-tête.
