De Kleine Komedie, built in 1786 as Theatre Français sur l'Erwtemarkt, is the oldest theatre in Amsterdam. De Kleine Komedie offers a stage for both upcoming and established talents.

Permanent performers are and were, among others: Youp van 't Hek, Brigitte Kaandorp, Lebbis & Jansen, Hans Dorrestijn and Bert Visscher.
