The Keukenhof gardens, located near Lisse about 40 kilometres from Amsterdam, is the world's largest flower garden. This historic park brimming with tulips, hyacinths, daffodils and other spring bulbs - is the place to be in spring-time. Keukenhof is world-famous and has been one of the most popular attractions in the Netherlands for years.

A stroll through the 32-hectare Keukenhof with its 15 kilometres of footpaths is extremely relaxing and awe-inspiring. There are over 7 million flower bulbs – planted by hand in the park – and 4,5 million tulips in 100 varieties! There is even a Walk of Fame with tulips named after famous people.

Don’t forget your camera – the Keukenhof is the most photographed place in the world – which is very impressive if you think that it is only open two months of the year (mid-March to mid-May).
