Bakery Museum In de Gecroonde Duyvekater

Zeilenmakerspad 4
1509 BZ ZAANDAM
Environs: Regio

'In de Gecroonde Duyvekater' dating from 1658 houses a baker's shop with a 19th century interior, a bakery with an authentic oven and living accommodation. The shop and the bakery form a surprisingly intimate bakery museum. The name of the museum originates from a famous sweet type of Zaanse bread that is still being made in the area today. The shop where traditional Dutch bakery products and sweets are sold is a donation from Koninklijke Wessanen NV. The original location of this building was Hazepad in Zaandijk. It was moved to the Zaanse Schans in 1970.
