The corner building of café Struik on the Rozengracht still has its original wooden beams that match wonderfully with the metallic green wall, concrete bar (500 kilos!) and the Struik graffiti on the brick wall at the back. This bright, open café is a good spot for lunching (also outside). In the evening it is simply a bar with a selection of snacks and a modest cocktail menu as well as regular deejays. It mostly draws in the creative party-goers but now and then your typical locals from the Jordaan neighbourhood turn up.
