Finch on the Noordermarkt (North Market) has been a hot spot for many years to the young residents of the Jordaan area and other Amsterdammers. One can eat here simply and inexpensively (a new menu every week) or just enjoy a drink in the retro surroundings. This is a spot where the artsy locals or yuppies feel at home. On Thursday and Friday evenings the café is often packed to the rafters—and all the more fun because of it.
