For yet another season, Pathé Tuschinski delights Amsterdammers by beaming the latest productions live from the New York Met onto their local silver screen from October 2011 through to April 2012.

Attention opera fans! You don’t have to be a New Yorker to enjoy the latest productions of the Metropolitan Opera, one of the world's most acclaimed opera houses.

With their 'Live in High Definition' programme, the Pathé Tuschinski cinema give fans a chance to experience it all from the comfort of a seat at the cinema in the heart of Amsterdam - plane tickets not necessary.

The Met's new  interpretation of the Ring cycle, directed by Robert Lepage, reaches its cataclysmic climax.

Ernani - 25 February 2012
Angela Meade performs the lead in one of Verdi's early gems.

Manon - 7 April 2012
Laurent Pelly's production of Massenet's opera premiered at the Royal Opera House in London's Covent Garden and now comes to New York (and, by proxy, Amsterdam!)
