Rolling Kitchens 2012
After four successful years of outdoor mobile food fun, The Weekend of the Rolling Kitchens is back for its fifth edition from 17 to 20 May 2012 at Amsterdam's Westergasfabriek.
Mobile delicacies
For four days over the Ascension weekend, tens of mobile kitchens will descend upon the park at the Westergasfabriek to create an enormous open air restaurant!
Food to suit every appetite will be on the menu, with everything from fresh Italian pizza to sophisticated seafood dishes on offer. Hunt around for your favourite dish(es), pick up your order and relax under the sun (or later in the evening, stars) as you enjoy your food.
There is no entrance charge for Rolling Kitchens (Rollende Keukens) and the food is designed to tickle the most culinary of taste buds without breaking the bank. And after the sun has set on 18, 19 and 20 May, there's the chance to catch an open-air screening of a popular film.

The Rolling Kitchens will be open from 13:00 to 23:00 on Thursday, 17 May through to Sunday, 20 May. The Westergasfabriek is about 30 minute’s walk from Amsterdam Central Station or tram number 10 stops nearby.
