Passionate ballet in Amsterdam

Onegin tells the passionate story of Tatiana who is enamoured by the aristocratic Eugene Onegin. When he sets eyes on her sister Olga instead, Olga’s husband-to-be meets an unfortunate end in the duel that follows. For this piece, director John Cranko has chosen to use an arrangement of lesser-known Tchaikovsky compositions, rather than the composer's opera music by the same name.
