Evensong is one of the official services of the Anglican Church. It was first published in 1549 and later revised in the 1662 Book of Common Prayer and essentially combines elements of the Roman Catholic vesper and compline services into a single service. Choral evensong is the name given to the service when a choir sings the majority of the service to musical settings - as in the St. Nicholas Church. The admittance of Choral Evensong is free of charge.
