Intriguing photography and history
French photographer Chrystel Lebas was commissioned to create new works based on a set of anonymous glass plates featuring exquisite landscapes. The plates turned out to be created by famed British botanist and ecologist Edward James Salisbury, and took Lebas on a four-year journey through the rugged forests of Scotland and Norfolk as she re-traced his steps and interpreted his vision.
