Visiting museums on public holidays
Nearly all of Amsterdam's museums and attractions are open on Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Monday, Remembrance and Liberation Day (4 & 5 May), Ascension Day, Whitsun and Whit Monday, although It's advisable to check the museum's website before visiting to avoid disappointment.
