An adventurous journey

A visit to the Railway Museum is an intriguing way to travel through 175 years of railway history. There’s plenty going on both inside and outside the museum’s walls: visitors can take a seat in a Dutch Royal railway carriage, hop aboard a gigantic steam engine, find out where the 'dead man’s handle' got its name and check out the Fire Test with its award-winning 3D simulator that lets you drive the train yourself. In addition, the museum organises fabulous events for all ages throughout the year.
