Automobile museum in the Netherlands

From the first ever Fords built way back in 1903 through to the workhorses and luxury models of the late 1940s (the well-known A-Ford and T-Ford), the Ford museum takes visitors on a chronological journey through the history of one of the world's best loved motor brands. The collection of lovingly restored vehicles also includes rare models including a wrecker, a series of fire engines and other special types of transport. There's also a complete workshop from the time of these cars, demonstrating how the vehicles were made. Don't forget to tip your hat to Henry Ford himself as you enter the museum, presiding proudly over one of his first creations. The museum also a unique place for coffee or lunch amongst the motors. It's easily accessible by private and public transport, and is only 20 minutes' drive from the centre of Amsterdam.
