Transcultural art and global discussion

Through exhibitions, Framer Framed sets out to discuss the politics of representation and the position of transcultural art in the 21st century. Alongside each exhibition, an extensive public program is organised in order to contextualise as well as shed different lights on the topics concerned.

Framer Framed invites international curators, emerging as much as established, to create exhibitions that question identity politics, notions of 'the other' as well as historiographical propositions. Within this common space for dialogue, Framer Framed aims to show a plurality of voices in a globalised society.
