In the rather unimposing Van Woustraat is the first class Italian restaurant Fa. Pekelhaaring. The name gives no indication of what to expect- one can indeed dine to one’s heart’s content on pure Italian cooking. They prepare mainly Italian country dishes such as papardelle with stewed rabbit and acorn bread or fresh Italian sausage. It has a plain and sober decor with a mahogany bar, black trimmings and an open kitchen.
