Waalse Kerk (Wallonian Church)

The Waalse Kerk (Wallonian Church) dates all the way back to 1409. It was originally used as a monastery chapel, but in the 16th century it became a house of worship for French-speaking protestant refugees from the south of the Netherlands. Thanks to its fantastic acoustics, the church often hosts concerts and even recording sessions. To this day, services are held in French every Sunday.
