Time Out Amsterdam

Monthly agenda

Time Out Amsterdam’s up-to-date and independent listings cover every cultural topic, ranging from ballet to burlesque, from haute cuisine to just getting a donut. Read all about it here…

History

Started by Tony Elliott over 40 years ago, the first issue of Time Out was a folded piece of poster paper, which aimed to bring readers the very best of London’s cultural scene, with independent and honest reviews. Today that single sheet has grown into a global company, bringing refreshing reviews in more than 33 cities worldwide, from Abu Dhabi to Zagreb.

Time Out Amsterdam

Time Out Amsterdam

Launched in October 2008, Amsterdam has its own copy of Time Out which appears monthly - and in English. Always irreverent, Time Out’s up-to-date and accurate listings encompass dining, cultural activities, attractions, events, shopping and much more. In fact they have all five senses covered, as everything you would ever want to watch, listen, taste, feel and smell is reviewed. In fact, even if you’re not planning to go anywhere at all, leafing through its pages is a great way to spend a night in.

Insider-info

Time Out Amsterdam

All Time Out critics live in – and love - Amsterdam so you are getting realistic and accurate insider-info. This helps you navigate the tourist traps and get to grips with the best the city has to offer. With features like “The Hot 25 Restaurants” or “Gay and Lesbian” the content is relevant to both tourists and locals alike, and offers some very useful advice to the uninitiated. There is also a handy five-star rating system for people who like spangles. Of course this is Amsterdam, so the listings include special shop and club reviews, along with comments on the more traditional kinds of café’s and petting zoos.
