An impressive brand portfolio

Veen Media’s portfolio of special-interest publications is as impressive as it is inspiring. Brands include New Scientist, Jamie magazine, Filosofie magazine, Historisch Nieuwsblad, Maarten! and Opzij. Whilst covering a wide variety of interests, these brands all share a common approach to their subject matter, offering an accessible route into specialist fields with a more approachable view than other scientific or ‘elite’ publications.

Inspiring events in Amsterdam

Veen Media is committed to sharing its knowledge through regular events, such as the well-known ‘Filosofie Nacht’. This now famous evening invites several philosophers to reflect on present-day themes, and in 2016 the topic will be ‘crossing borders’. New Scientist also organises various ‘New Scientist cafés’ which attracts scientists from all scientific disciplines including physics, astronomy, CERN, nutrition, the human brain and many more. History magazine Historisch Nieuwblad organises lecture series that focus on various themes and give a modern-day view on historical topics. And last but not least: Veen media organises the yearly Opzij top 100, which offers a broad stage to inspiring and influential women are given a broad stage.
