For Amsterdam and surroundings the year 2010 is the year of Water Sensations. Amsterdam and water are inextricably linked. The city was not only founded on water, but water plays a major role still. Throughout the year events which are linked to water are organized in the capital Amsterdam and show that its citizens utilise their lives on the Amsterdam waterfront to the fullest.
