16 September 2016 to 7 May 2017

This new exhibition in the Amsterdam Museum traces a hundred years of Schiphol’s history — from muddy pastures to a high-tech airport — and looks to its future. What lies ahead for Schiphol? Are there limits to its growth? How do you envision it?

Play the Air Traffic Control game and guide an aircraft safely to the runway, or experience what it's like to be a member of the Dutch Border Police in a genuine passport control booth. There are, of course, many other interesting things to see, including an aeroplane engine from the 1920s and a real bomb from World War Two. And the exhibition also contains tons of fascinating facts: did you know that there is an animal hotel at Schiphol? Come along and experience this great exhibition for yourself!
