A musician who pushes the boundaries in terms of possibilities

Nick Mulvey has come a long way - in terms of experience, music and philosophy. The musician, composer and producer is a boundary pusher with music that is both traditional and experimental, acoustic and electronic.

In 2011 he left the award-winning British collective Portico Quartet to concentrate on his own material. Once solo, Mulvey released the debut album 'First Mind' in 2014, which was nominated for the Mercury Prize. In 2017, follow-up 'Wake Up Now' was released, which also received good reviews.
