The Wester-Amstel is a gorgeous country house that sits on the bank of the River Amstel just outside of Amstelveen. In this region, the river was once graced by 60 such estates but the Wester-Amstel is one of the few still standing.
Four centuries of history by the Amstel
The estate celebrated its 350th anniversary in 2012. In addition to enjoying tours of the house, visitors can stroll through the Wester-Amstel's garden or enjoy one of its exhibitions or special concerts.
