Winkel is known by many as the place with the best apple pie. Hundreds of points go through it in a day. But the eatery on the Noordermarkt is more. You can have breakfast, lunch, drinks and a simple dinner in this cozy corner café, with a bit of luck on the great terrace on the market square. The interior of Winkel is extremely simple and light.
Market days and apple pie bustle
On Mondays and Saturdays there is a market in the Jordaan and the apple pie bustle is even greater than normal. On those days there is therefore a special market menu.
On other days you can enjoy simple, tasty dishes such as roasted pepper soup, fish tagine or a salad bowl, all at very reasonable prices!
