Skek

Skek stands for Kriterion Foundation EetKaffee has had its own place on the Zeedijk since 2006. 'Skek is completely based on the ideal of the Kriterion foundation (which also includes the Kriterion cinema and Studio/K) to give students in associations the opportunity to set up and run a business from A to Z. At Skek they do everything themselves, from making food and purchasing and pouring beers, to designing posters and arranging performances. This cultural eatery has been around for 17 years and is seen by many as a second living room.

Everything has been extensively tasted and fits in with the season

The menu changes every season, which means that every three months the kitchen members go to someone's home for a test cooking evening. After everything has been cooked and tasted by the kitchen members, it is the guests' turn to taste and criticize the entire new menu during the tasting evening. (keep an eye on our Instagram!). And when guests have given their opinion, a new card appears that has already been approved by many people.

Just like the menu, the drinks menu has also been put together and tasted extensively. In addition to the regular beer range, Skek offers regularly changing special beers on tap and in bottles. Preferably no beer, you can of course also choose from a number of tasty soft drinks and various delicious wines.
