Bloem op IJburg
If you are on IJburg - because of the architecture or the beach - you can enjoy a delicious meal at Bloem op IJburg; an Italian restaurant with Mediterranean cuisine. Or a Mediterranean restaurant with an Italian touch. It's just how you say it. Inside it is cozy with a traditional wood oven in the middle of the business and non-standard dishes on the menu of mostly organic ingredients. Think of risotto with sausages from Umbria and red gurnard with Vongole and saffron sauce.
From pizza to passion
Bloem op IJburg has been a household name for a few years now. With about 60 seats inside and a spacious and sun-drenched terrace on the IJburglaan, it is always a good place to be. In the summer in the sun and out of the wind with the terrace doors open and in bad weather in the modern restaurant. Modern but authentic in flavours. They mainly get them from Italy, so that the sun can still be tasted in all dishes. Ah, la dolce vita….!
Of course the pizzas are prepared in a real wood oven. Nowadays Bloem is known for the extensive and tasteful menus of delicious Italian and Mediterranean dishes. The wood oven is therefore not only used for pizzas, but also for meat, fish, vegetables and bread. Food that is prepared with passion and that chef Mike and his team would like you to enjoy for an evening!
