The Stadsschouwburg Amsterdam and Dansgroep Amsterdam present a unique glimpse into the future of modern dance in the city on 21 and 22 September.

AmsterdamDans

Part of the new AmterdamDans festival, a brainchild of Dansgroep Amsterdam, Viewture allows up-and-coming guest choreographers to work with the group's talented dancers to produce spellbinding modern dance productions. This year, White Horse and Gilulia Muedda get a crack of the whip.

White Horse

Chris Leuenberger, Lea Martini and Julia Jadkowski are collectively known as White Horse. The choreographic trio won the ITs Choreography Award in 2007 for a joint production.

Trip en masse

For Viewture, White Horse have rewritten their successful production Trip to include a greater number of dancers. Get ready for TRIP en masse, a fascinating, exhausting work about fanaticism, the masses and hysteria. This is a bubble of here and now brutality - conceptual but impressively physical.

Giulia Mureddu

Giulia Mureddu is all about innovation and hits Viewture with a new work. Intermezzo is a physical production featuring five dancers about the desire to come into contact with others.

Dynamic choreography

Mureddu has made a name for herself with her multi-layered productions that combine physical impact with dynamic choreography and a touch of humour. In recent years, she has worked at acclaimed dance groups including Danswerkplaats Amsterdam and Dansgroep Krisztina de Châtel.
