Traces

The programme 'Traces' presents one of the choreographic gems by Jiří Kylián alongside a new work by Marco Goecke and Crystal Pite. 'Double You', by Jiří Kylián, is a solo of just under a fifteen minutes in which a man depicts the ups and downs of life in virtuoso body language, against the background of passing time. The choreographies by Marco Goecke, a master of sombre atmosphere, suggestion, magic and absurdism, are sensational, idiosyncratic and innovative. The Canadian choreographer Crystal Pite is the associate choreographer at the Netherlands Dans Theater. Her ballets for the company, such as 'The Second Person' and 'Plot Point', have always been resoundingly successful both here and in other countries.
