Free walking tours

On 21 February, professional tourist guides introduce themselves to the public in major cities all over the world. Guidor, representing the Netherlands' guides, will offer free walking tours on themes such as 'The architecture of the Golden Age' and 'Religious life in the 16th century'. The tours are available in English and various other languages.

Amsterdam Museum

Tourist Guide Day is organised by Guidor in collaboration with the Amsterdam Museum, the former Amsterdam Historical Museum. The tours last about 45 minutes and depart from the museum courtyard at regular intervals. Participants will receive a voucher for a 50 per cent discount on the Amsterdam Museum entrance fee.
