One big bop and jazz party with three marvellous alto saxophonists. Alan Skidmore is one of the best Britain has produced when it comes to saxophone players. His straight jazz is counterbalanced by the contemporary, fresh solos by Tineke Postma, and Benjamin Herman is the perfect link, as demonstrated by the fact that he has collaborated with everyone from poets to rappers and from Candy Dulfer to Misha Mengelberg. They will be accompanied by the trio of pianist Rein de Graaff, who has been a bebop authority in the Netherlands since the 1950s.
