Tindersticks

Tindersticks

Since the early 90s, the Tindersticks have been a staple in the record collection of many an indie fan prone to both string instruments and melancholy. After splitting, the band reunited in 2007 and now visit Amsterdam to promote their upcoming album.

Unique sound

The Tindersticks' sound is unique: a smokey, loungey mix of indie rock and chamber music, with good doses of string instruments (and glockenspiel, vibraphone, violin, trumpet, trombone, clarinet, bassoon, Hammond organ...), melancholy and, on top of it all, the distinctive baritone of singer Stuart Staples. This March, they visit Amsterdam to promote upcoming album The Something Rain.

Please note: the concert is seated.
