On 6 November 2012, the American people choose their next president and to mark the occasion, Amsterdam's Melkweg and the Stadsschouwburg Amsterdam put on a special programme on 6 & 7 November 2012.
The President's Night in the Melkweg and All American Breakfast in the neighbouring Stadsschouwburg Amsterdam are both devoted to this major 4-yearly event on the other side of the Atlantic.
USA watchers, politicians, journalists and artists are all on hand to follow progress result-by-result and analyse proceedings in debates, readings and talk shows. There'll be live links to US television and reactions from on-location reporters as well as live music performances, comedy and film.
The first and second editions of The President's Night in 2004 and 2008 were completely sold out so make sure you grab your ticket on time!
