Teigetje & Woelrat

Hundreds of pictures

From 1964 to 1971, Gerard Reve lived in the house 'Huize Het Gras' in the small Frisian village of Greonterp. During this period, Reve's partners Willem Bruno van Albada and Hendrik van Manen, mentioned in Reve's books with the names 'Teigetje' and 'Woelrat', took hundreds of pictures of the writer's everyday life, his work, neighbours, house and friends.

Touching images

26 display cabinets present a large number of these touching images together with authentic objects from the writer's life. Explanatory texts written by Van Albada and Van Manen accompany the photographs.
