Dublin-born Sinead O'Conner made a name for herself in the early 90s with the heart-wrenching international hit 'Nothing Compares To You'. A turbulent lifestyle and controversial views on the church, and her unique hair style - proving a bald head could actually be seductive, probably for the first and last time.
More recently O'Connor released an album called Collaborations that saw her team up with the likes of Massive Attack and Asian Dub Foundation as well as U2 and the Blockheads. Later that year she recorded with reggae rhythm masters Sly and Robbie on Throw Down Your Arms and 2007's Theology. She is working on a new album due for release in 2010.
