Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui's productions are staged as imaginative stories, although they simultaneously make reference to everyday reality. Play sees him team up with leading Indian Kuchipudi dancer Shantala Shivalingappa.

Relationship games

The production plays with two interwoven concepts: the role playing that takes place in the theatre and the game that people play in their daily lives, in this case the game that a man and a woman play.
