Paradiso's Only Night 2012: A Baroque Extravaganza

For this unique evening, Amsterdam's Paradiso will be transformed into a baroque palace boasting wine, oysters and naturally sensational music by composers including Monteverdi, Vivaldi and Purcell.

The acclaimed Paradiso Orchestra are joined by countertenor Maarten Engeltjes, lute player Mike Fentross, clarinetist Maarten Ornstein and catering company Food, Jazz and DJs as they take you on a musical, culinary adventure back to the legendary parties of yesteryear.

Baroque classics

Music on the night will include Vividi's timeless Four Seasons, heartrending arias from Henry Purcell and the swinging music from the film Le Roi Danse by French baroque composer Jean Baptiste Lully.
