Amsterdam's Stadsschouwburg presents a triple dance bill including two world premieres, performed by the young talents of the Nederlands Dans Theater 2.

Waves of Euphoria

Created in 2009, Offspring is Lukás Timulak's second ballet for the NDT 2. The work premiered on the day that his daughter was born and is inspired by the thought of becoming a father, capturing waves of euphoria.

The Swedes are coming

Further on the bill is the world premiere of a piece by the Swedish choreographer Johan Inger. And the programme's second world premiere comes from Inger's fellow countryman Alexander Ekman, who, in addition to being a dancer and choreographer, is also a set designer and filmmaker; his multiple talents come to the fore in this characteristic work.
