Congolese photographer and videomaker Sammy Baloji places black and white archival images of exploited Congolese workers in today's battered landscapes, an industrial wasteland that still bears traces of the colonial rulers ruthlessly exploiting the lands for their own profits. In 2009, Baloji received a Prince Claus Award for his strong work.
