Part of the Amsterdam Fringe Festival. 'Loss' is a lonely landscape where there is no sign of time: a landscape that is still, pure, silent. The bodies move without a sound and the music transcends the space lifting it up into the sky while the visual images create a dialogue between body and space.
The spaces between
Two dancers are intertwined in their search for contact. Contact with the space around them. Contact with the cold nature that is represented through images. Contact with each other.
A lonely dance
The performance is a lonely dance looking for companionship and warmth in a cold-looking world. There are cracks in the gigantic ice mass pictured on the wall. These cracks are a guideline for the dancers. Way up to another beautiful meaningful nothingness.
Language no problem: dance performance.
