A musical journey along the Silk Road, with music and songs from Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan, Armenia, Anatolia and Kurdistan.


From Turkmenistan to Thrace

Grup Kervan (The Caravan) from Turkey travels the Silk Road, the historical trading route between China and the Mediterranean Sea with music from Turkmenistan, Kurdistan, Azerbaijan and the Uyghur people, and closing with Anatolian mystical and Thracian gypsy sounds. The performance is part of the Turkey Now! Festival.
