Henna: An Iraqi Marraige


Muhanad Rasheed was showered with praise for his earlier production Mourning, which examined the mourning rituals of women in his native Iraq.

This time around, he turns his attentions to a somewhat happier element of his culture ? that of marriage traditions. The title of this piece refers to the henna paint used to decorate the bride's hands.
