Baroque music by Händel, funky jazz inspired by Duke Ellington, Arabic music and Balkan beats - nothing is off-limits at the Grand Café Mediterranée by Night. The evening features short concerts with introductions by the musicians from Dutch ensembles and artists from Damascus, Beirut and Tehran.
International line-up
Artists include Calefax, Jungle Boldie, Contrasto Armononico and Tarhana while Syrian soprano Rasha Rizk and Lebanese violinist Claude Chalhoub provide the solos.
Begin with a bite
The Turkish/Greek film Egg, directed by Semih Kaplanoglu will also be played and the evening begins with a Mediterranean buffet.
