Amsterdam's Stadsschouwburg presents an evening with dance from three generations of masterful choreographers.


Krisztina de Châtel meets Piazzolla

Generations offers works by three generations of dance artists. Krisztina de Châtel, artistic director of Dansgroep Amsterdam, has become well known for her combination of dance, visual art and design. For Generations, she has created a new piece to the music of Piazzolla's Eight Seasons.

Guest choreographer Michael Schumacher is a master of improvisation. Together with his dancers, he develops an idea that ultimately serves as the backbone of the resulting dance piece. Finally, the youngest generation of talent is represented by Scottish guest choreographer William Collins.
